I wrote my first ezine article in December 2003. I titled it ‘The Power of On-line Friendship’. It was five paragraphs long and had 3 typos. I exercised it to promote ‘The Free Promotion Tips Ezine’, an ezine of mine that has long ever since faded into the Great Void of Cyberspace. I still think it’s one amongst my most emotive articles. I danced round the house, riverdance-vogue, for regarding ten minutes when I read the e-mail from Chuck Bowden, the editor of Your Commercial Area Ezine, who promised to utilize my article. That was very presumably one in all the happiest days of my adult life.
I am aware that almost all of you have got a lot of thrilling lives than me and, thus, would not notice getting an article published online to be a greatest achievement in your life. I, however, live a life of isolation and solitude and would thanks to not rub your lives in my face.
I’ve written many additional ezine articles since then and have had a good number of them used by varied ezines and sites. Sometimes after I’m tired of checking out spam or signing up free promotional programs just to get 50 free guests to my website, I prefer to sort my name, followed by the word ‘articles’ into Yahoo or Google. I capture a few moments to go throught the results and see where a number of my articles have been used.
Sometimes I find that my articles are being used in a few very fascinating places. For example some of my articles have appeared up on spiritual sites, even though I have never written a commentary with a spiritual theme. I assume the Good Lord extremely does work in mysterious ways.
I find that a heap of my articles get printed on Work At Home Mum sites. I realize this fascinating (1) because as a male I cannot, officially, be a mom and (2) as a poor, blue collar, working category stiff I do not, in theory, work at home. My overall purpose is: Writing ezine articles could be a nice means to induce your name, website, product, etc. plastered everywhere the Net. Regardless of how well you promote and advertise there are simply some dark corners of Cyberspace that you’ll not reach. You articles, however, over time, can notice their way to these nooks and crannies and enlighten them together with your words.
So my recommendation to everyone? Keep writing ezine articles! Not only does one obtain the satisfaction of writing them however you also get the joy of seeing your name (and you words) everywhere the Web. And then it’ll be your turn to riverdance.
